Lipositivo

The animated short film explores the journey of a plus-sized gay individual, highlighting the challenges of fatphobia from childhood to self-discovery as a proud bear. 

As a result of a TCC (final undergraduate thesis project), produced still during the pandemic under the guidance of Daniel Grizante, it involved analysis of analogous projects, interviews, prototypes (story reel, pencil test, and animatic), inking, coloring, sound design (executed by Mauricio Domene), and post-production. The entire process was meticulously documented in a thesis, which turned into a nearly 300-page book. 

The project aims to elucidate society's prejudices and to spread awareness and uplift the bear community.
